Portugal’s Galp announced that it will discontinue operations at its Matosinhos refinery from 2021. The Matosinhos refinery, which began operations in 1969, is situated on the north-western coast of Portugal. The complex also houses an aromatics plant, a lubricant base oils plant and a lubricant manufacturing plant.
